Gal leads Ernst & Young’s Restructuring & Finance practice in Israel. In this capacity, Gal advises major Israeli corporations on capital raising, refinancing, and equity restructuring transactions. He also works with domestic and foreign investors and funds to structure inbound and outbound cross-border investments.
Gal has over 14 years of experience in investment banking, strategic advisory and financial management. Prior to joining EY, Gal served as a senior investment banker with Barclays Capital in NYC and Silicon Valley, where he advised some of the world’s largest corporations and investment funds on structured M&A, financing, and capital markets transactions. Gal led deal teams in the U.S., E.U. and Israel on domestic and cross border transactions performing deal structuring, valuation & financial modeling, price negotiation and due diligence.
Gal holds a B.A. (Accounting) / LL.B. (Law) from Tel Aviv University and an MBA from the Wharton School at UPENN. He is a Certified Public Accountant (Israel) and Lawyer (Israeli Bar).
