President and co-founder of Continental Ventures
Jane Gol is President and co-founder of Continental Ventures, a privately owned commercial and residential development company that specializes in the New York, Toronto, and Florida markets.
She is also co-President of Continental Pinewood, which develops condominium and single family luxury homes on Long Island.
The business model is based on assembling building sites, addressing zoning/landmarks challenges, constructing buildings, and selling residential units while retaining ownership of the retail component.
In addition, Continental Ventures owns and manages a portfolio of residential/mixed use properties.
As President of both platforms, Ms. Gol plays an instrumental role in the negotiation and structuring of each acquisition, and is responsible for the oversight of new development projects.
With her strong knowledge of the New York real estate market and sharp eye for detail, Ms. Gol governs design and marketing for Continental Ventures and Continental Pinewood projects.
Notable current developments include a 2.5 million square foot mixed use site on the waterfront in downtown Toronto; 52 Wooster, a boutique condo and retail building in Soho; a 33 story rental building in midtown NYC; Club at Melville, a 55 and over affordable condo community in Melville; and Barn & Vine, a community of 37 luxury homes in Bridgehampton, NY.
Ms Gol is co-President of Bayport Funding, a private equity non-traditional lending platform that supports the renovation/improvement of residential properties in the New York Metropolitan area.
Ms. Gol is proud to have served as a Commissioner on the New York City Planning Commission under Mayor Michael Bloomberg.
She is a former member of the IDBNY Bank Board of Directors.
Ms Gol is a member of WX, an invitation only executive women in real estate group, and she serves on the Board of American Friends of Sheba and American Friends of Shalva. Ms. Gol is a graduate of Cornell University.
