Mr. Freud is the Managing Member of Troutbrook Development a fully integrated real estate company with a separate construction division, primarily involved in the development and acquisition of of properties. Notable projects include the conversion of a substantial loft building in downtown Brooklyn and subsequent buyout by Forest City Rather to make way for the Nets/Barclay arena. Troutbrook continues to develop residential condominium projects and high-end rental projects in both the boroughs of Manhattan and Brooklyn. Troutbrook has bought, developed and sold more than a dozen buildings in NYC in the past years . Troutbrook has developments in 4 states and is presently executed development and added value investments in San Francisco, Los Angeles Art District, Allentown Pennsylvania, Miami, Florida and NYC. Troutbrook is an Owner of real estate across the asset classes. Their developments are retail, mixed-use properties, residential, industrial and owners of Marriott and independently branded hotels.

About Marc Freud

Marc J .Freud, prior to founding Troutbrook Company and Development, previously he was a principal of an investment group that were real estate owners and managers in Boston, Chicago and Houston, Texas with a combined portfolio of 4.5 million square feet of central business district office properties with Lehman Brothers as the General Partner. Freud has executed deals on as a real estate investment consultant and has been responsible for the sale of such properties as: 75 Maiden Lane; 551 Madison Avenue; 232 Madison Avenue; 83 Maiden Lane; 845 United Nations Plaza; the “Trump World Tower,” a 750,000 square-foot residential development, the American Standard Building at 40-50 West 40th Street; and numerous other loft buildings and development site deals in excess of $2.5 Billion dollars. In the 845 United Nations Plaza transaction, he was the lead advisor for Donald J. Trump and the United Engineering Trustees Inc. He has held position in some of New York’s other prominent Owners, among them Kiyato Holdings and Tishman Speyer Properties.

Freud holds a Bachelor of Arts in Economics and a Masters Degree in International Finance and Real Estate Development from New York University. He sits on numerous executive Boards including committees of the Boy Scouts of America, Make A Wish- NYC – and Temple Israel of New York.
