Michal Halevy -

President of WES consultants LLC and a Principal of Wexler Associates

Michal Halevy is the President of WES consultants LLC and a Principal of Wexler Associates Structural Engineers. She has over 15 years of experience in structural design, project peer reviewing, value engineering, coordination, construction monitoring, BIM, IPD and owner’s assistance services. She has worked successfully on hundreds of projects in the NYC metro area.

Wexler Associates is a structural engineering firm located in NYC, which is responsible for the design of approximately one hundred buildings every year.  Wexler’s unique team is responsible for the structural design of various projects including residential, retail, medical, educational, industrial, and specialty buildings. High-rise, mid-rise, and low-rise buildings are creatively designed cost effectively.

WES Consultants is construction phase Services Company that works mainly with contractors and developers. WES is responsible for preparation of Steel, Concrete and Precast shop drawings for numerous complicated buildings in NYC including the Madison Square Garden. All work is done utilizing 3D modeling. Wes provides owner assistance and construction management services.

Before moving to the US, Michal worked at the ILA (Israel Land Administration), assisting the CEO with urban plans review. She holds a dual degree in business administration and economics from the Hebrew university and a second degree in computer science from the Tel Aviv Jaffa Academic College. She studied structural engineering in NYC at Columbia University.

In everything she does, Mika strives to provide simple solutions to complex problems. She believes in transparency of information and open channel communication in order to optimize the design and construction of buildings.

She places a specific emphasis on a common sense approach to structural engineering allowing developers and contractors to better understand the construction process and procedures and to make more informed decisions.

Michal served in the Israeli army as a psychotechnic interviewer and was responsible for the Israeli Air Force flying school tryouts.
