Research methodology, information strategy, marketing research, society and public opinion, calculating market potential, information systems, and information solutions.
• Established one of the first labs for geographic information system (GIS) and the study of space at the Tel Aviv University.
• Established similar labs at Clark University and the University of Iowa in the US.
• Head of the project to establish the “new generation” of the Tel Aviv University’s general information system (1982)
• Visiting professor at numerous universities and forums: UNESCO, NATO, International School of Asian Studies in Bangkok, Thailand, ISTIC (Chinese Academy of Sciences, and more.
• The national representative of the Israel Academy of Sciences at CODATA – the international commission for using data for science and technology.
• Active in international forums that deal with competitive commercial intelligence (CI) and part of the executive committee of the Israeli Forum in this field.
